Welcome to BSidesPhilly, an Information Security conference.
If this is your first time hearing about BSides conferences, congratulations, you are among friends. Like other BSides events, BSidesPhilly aims at being an event to help showcase the security practices, research and knowledge within the Philadelphia area in a more intimate setting compared to other, larger conferences.
Our Mission
BSidesPhilly seeks to create awareness and improve upon the conversation and research of security topics within the Philadelphia region for researchers, professionals, and practitioners alike. The conference aims to give these various groups a chance to meet, engage in conversation through scheduled talks and events, as well as offer a networking opportunity that will result in new collaborative efforts for research and other security projects. Above all, our goal is to create a self-sustaining event that will continue on an annual basis through the attendance and support of the security community.
Code of Conduct
The BSidesPhilly conference strongly supports diversity and inclusion in a safe environment for all of its attendees. We have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for abusive, disrespectful, or harassing behavior. Report code of conduct violations to a BSidesPhilly volunteer immediately. Violators of the sanctity of our event will be ejected without ticket refund. Adhere to the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and have a meaningful and fulfilling Security BSides experience. Let’s learn, be social, and have fun.
